INDIVIDUAL AND COUPLES THERAPY

I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation when I have availability for new clients. During this call, we can talk about what’s bringing you in at this time and address any questions you may have about my style and approach.

If we decide to move forward, we can schedule a full session. If I believe another therapist or modality might be a better fit, I’m happy to offer a referral.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Couples sessions are 55–60 minutes.

I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. Video sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant platform and can be audio-only when needed.

My office is located in an elevator building in the Gramercy neighborhood of New York City.

FEES

My fees are consistent with current market rates for private psychotherapy in New York City.

The fee per session is $250 for individuals and $325 for couples. If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out to discuss whether sliding scale openings are available. When possible, I strive to make treatment accessible while maintaining the sustainability of my practice.

INSURANCE

I am not in-network with any insurance plans at this time. Payment is made out of pocket at the time of service. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement directly from your insurance provider.

While I can provide the documentation needed to submit claims, I cannot guarantee reimbursement, the amount your plan will cover, or whether your specific policy includes out-of-network benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to clarify your coverage.

Here are some questions to ask your provider:

  • Does my plan include mental health benefits and do I need preauthorization to access those benefits?

  • What is the deductible under my plan and has part or all of it been satisfied?

  • What percentage of the cost of treatment will be my responsibility once my deductible has been met?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions my plan will cover?

I am happy to send ONN claims for you or send you an itemized Superbill as an added convenience.

At times in the past I have accepted some insurance providers as if I am in-network based upon need and have reserved a portion of my practice for this using a third-party vendor.
